Isang mahalakhak na hapon.
Isang black Mercedes Benz ang nagdaan at sinundan ito ng tingin ni Itay, bigla niyang sinabi sa akin.
Itay: Anak, kapag mayaman ka na, ibili mo ko ng kotse.
Ako: (Wow ha. Demanding din pala si Itay) Kelan pa yun, Dad.
Itay: Five to six years from now. Pero gusto ko yung high profile.
Ako. (Wow lang talaga.) Sige ba Dad. Hayaan mo, mag-aasawa ako ng may-ari ng AM, para libre na yung sa’yo.
At humalakhak si Itay. Makalipas ang ilang minuto, dumating si pinsan at nagtanong sa aking kuya.
Pinsan: Drich, kakilala mo ba yung teller dun sa bangko?
Kuya: Taga-samin? Oo, bakit?
Pinsan: Tinatanong kasi kung may girlfriend ka.
Inay, Itay at Ako: OOoooooohhh.
Edward: Bakit ako, hindi nila tinatanong ng ganun.
At ang buong pamilya ay sabay-sabay na humalakhak.

Not everything that you worked hard for is always meant to be yours. Somehow you lose. But when you lose, keep in mind that there will be a better time an opportunity that you surely deserve more than anything.
